The honeymoon was our dream come true with a perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. We truly enjoyed the active city pace of the Rome and Athens cities’, while enjoying a more relaxing stay at the Sorrento and Santorini hotels.

The resorts truly encompassed the meaning of boutique hotels, were very upscale, and catered to their clients to make sure the service was client centered at every moment. It was a dream for honeymooners to feel like the very most important guests at each of these resorts.

The hotels and honeymoon did not only meet our expectations, but went above and beyond anything we had ever imagined or could plan for ourselves. The company helped us to connect all the transportation for us and keep everything stress free so we could enjoy our experience just as the two of us.

In Italy, we made sure to explore the local authenticity of the cities in order to connect to the local cultures and people. We made sure to hit all of the highlights in every city, but as leave some time as well to book excursions that were more intimate and private to meet the locals and get to know the true life they live in the towns and places across the world. Canaves Oia Epitome had to be the most spectacular view in the world with the high class service and the staff catered to our every need. We felt like celebrities honestly.

We would return to Rome, Sorrento, and Santorini in a heart beat. Our plans may be to include more Italian citieis in our near future.

Athens would have to be the least favorite. Though the hotel made up for it, the city does not have much to offer in terms of excursions and activities. It can easily all be completed in one to two days and then you can move on to another destination from there due to Athens being a connecting point for travel, you still cannot pass it up due to the beautiful history of it.

Our highlight of our honeymoon had to be on our stop in Santorini at Canaves Oia Epitome because we had booked the honeymoon suite where we were welcomed with a glass of champagne and roses throughout the room. It was honestly the most romantic place and thing we have ever done with also having a private plunge pool in our suite as well.

Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?
We wish we would know more about the difficulty in people attempting to get your money and pick pocket you in Rome, Italy and other crowded cities. We had read up on ways to protect ourselves, however we still had people coming up to us literally handing us roses or water and then demanding for payment. That made for an awkward encounter and we quickly learned after our first mistake how pushy they truly can be.

Sorrento: Capodimonte Resort
– Great location, easy to walk into town but far enough out from the busy streets
-Gorgeous views and very accommodating, professional staff
-Great pool area

Athens- Electra Palace

-Great view of the Acropolis
– Really loved the buffet breakfast
-the staff was so warm, friendly and down to earth
-good location everything in walking distance

Paros – Adronis Minois

-Love, love this place! Walking into here I felt like I was in a whole different world and immediately relaxed
– The staff is so professional yet friendly and easy to talk with—- just very relaxing and welcoming
– Love the pool area and entire aesthetic of the hotel and rooms. From the variety of flowers, lamps lit up on the path and ocean views every detail is curated perfectly

Santorini – Adronis Boutique hotel 

– This truly was the Grande finale of the honeymoon!
-Most breathtaking views of ever seen in my life!
– Amazing, amazing room—loved having a private plunge pool and the room itself was great
– staff was so warm, friendly and welcoming—-definitely went the extra mile

Unforgettable Honeymoons service exceeded our expectations.  Thank you for planning for us, we were delighted.

First, We would return to all destinations.

Florence was beautiful. Hotel Lucchesi has the most amazing rooftop. The city has so much charm and history. The food and people were great. Rome was incredible and rich with history and places to explore. Very busy so I was glad after 3 days of go, go, go to move on to a more relaxing venue.  The Sorrentine Coast was stunning but very crowded with tourists (Capri and Positano). I noticed the friendliness of the people diminished the further South we travelled in Italy.

The hotel in Athens had a great continental breakfast. We would hands down return to Santorini again and visit more islands. So much to see and do. I found that it was pretty breezy there which isn’t something you usually hear about.

The least?
Probably Athens – lacks charm but does have a lot of history. We were only there for 1 evening and it was very windy. The people we came in contact with (drivers, hotel employees) were very friendly and overall we were pleasantly surprised. Nicer than anticipated.

Highlight of the honeymoon?

Tie between Florence and Sorrento/Amalfi and Santorini

Italian driving – it’s CRAZY and I am so thankful we had arranged transportation.

Our Greece/ Italy Combo Honeymoon was amazing!

Anyway, we were blown away by how easy Unforgettable Honeymoons made the trip for us. . No problems whatsoever. It was spectacular. The Stop in Rome was perfect We would recommend working with you to anyone and in fact we are excited to work with you in the future.

Thank you so much for all the planning and help, the trip to Greece overall was flawless….and we deeply appreciate all you did for us! Hope all is well.We did so much exploring, but had some nice down time/beach as well. The tours in Athens were awesome. Acropolis and museum were our favorites. We rented an ATV in Mykonos to cruise the island and climbed the Volcano in Santorini. Everyone in Greece was so nice and accommodating. The transfers you arranged all were confirmed with the hotel receptionist and everything went incredible smoothly. For that we are very thankful for all your help and working with you.

The hotels we stayed at we loved! Perfect location of each and everyone. A

thens and Mykonos were perfect, and Santorini had an incredible view. The bed and room in Santorini could have been better, but we made it work. Bed was just very uncomfortable…which could have been due to the standard room, not sure.
