The Isle of Capri- a short ferry ride from Sorrento yet worlds apart
Capri is beautiful and magical! Cliffs rise majestically from an impossibly blue sea; elegant villas drip with lush bright bougainvillea; even the trees seem to be carefully manicured everywhere you look. Taking a walk up to the main Piazza is a must-do. Be sure to stroll along Via Camerelle for its collection of high-end luxury shops like Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. Get a scoop of gelato from Buonocore Gelateria, a much more budget-friendly shop than the ones just mentioned. This small café has the reputation of being the best gelato restaurant in Capri.
The Blue Grotto
A karst cavity, about twenty meters deep and 60 meters long, which allows entry through a crack in the rock one meter above sea level: for this reason, entry is only possible with good marine weather conditions. Discovered By The German Painter Augusto Kopisch In 1826
