The Soufriere Volcano (Sulphur Springs) last erupted in the 1700’s – over 200 years! It originated from a weak spot in the crust of a collapsed volcanic crater, and is considered to be a dormant volcano – unlike the active Soufriere Hills Volcano in the island of Montserrat. One of the best features of the volcano is the ability to dive into the mud baths.
Diamond Mineral Falls
A must do honeymoon experience is to visit the botanical gardens and the Diamond Falls in St. Lucia offers you the chance to explore and enjoy some of the best of St. Lucia. Sailing to Marigot Bay
Sail past the fishing villages of Canaries and Anse La Raye before dropping anchor at picturesque Marigot Bay for a delicious lunch. On the return sail, go snorkeling over a coral reef or top off your tan on deck while enjoying water, sodas and rum punch.
Tet Paul Nature Trail
Nestled on six acres of lush, verdant land on St. Lucia’s World Heritage Site is the Tet Paul Nature Trail. Hiking this trail is like soaring heavenward on a beautiful natural staircase adorned with exotic fruits, trees and medicinal gardens. At the summit there is a breath taking view of the twin peaks and neighboring islands, Martinique and St. Vincent. The hike is rated easy to moderate and is approximately 45 minutes long.
