The grounds of the property were beautiful. In addition to laying by the pool, we took a few excursions ( sunset dinner cruise, submarine tour, Luau at the Hyatt Regency in Lahaina).

Hawaii Island Honeymoon to Oahu, Big Island and Maui Review
How did the honeymoon turn out in general? Our Hawaii honeymoon was absolutely amazing! We loved how the first half of our honeymoon was a lot of sightseeing and being busy and the second half was relaxing at a resort as that complimented both of our vacation preferences. The recommendations for things to do and sightseeing were also very helpful in planning our trip out.
What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at? At Prince Waikiki we were within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and getting to different places was very convenient at this location. T
At Marriott Wailea Beach resort we loved that breakfast was included in our room package (big props to Unforgettable Honeymoons for that one). The restaurant that breakfast was at was called Humble Market and Kitchin and is by Chef Roy Yamaguchi who owns the fine dining restaurant Roy’s on Oahu and Maui.
The least? We really don’t have any complaints. The only thing was on one of the flights there somehow we were seated in two different rows but since I had nobody sitting next to me we were able to still sit together.
The Shaka Guide App for Maui was very convenient and helpful. For $30 you can download all of these self guided tours on Maui like Road to Hana, Haleakala Sunrise, and more. Since we were driving at our own pace it was so nice to have a “guide” to show us stops along the way and hidden gems that you wouldn’t know about otherwise.
