Our Honeymoon to Thailand was everything we imagined and more. Everything went perfectly.

The people of Thailand were amazing, and very hospitable.

From our hotels, to activities and tours, there was not one thing we would change about our honeymoon. I would recommend Thailand as a destination to anyone as there appears to be something for everyone. The big city of Bangkok, the laid back country feel of Chang Mai, and the beaches of Phuket.

As I discussed with my wife it is hard to pick a highlight of our honeymoon because we had so many great moments and experiences. But if we had to choose, it would be a toss up between our elephant riding experience in Chiang Mai and our day trip to Phi Phi Islands.

In terms of the service we received from Unforgettable Honeymoons, it could not have been better.

From the transfers to and from the hotels to the flight, everything was perfect. Also the information provided prior to our travel with country information, suggested restaurants and activities was extremely helpful.

Unforgettable Honeymoons was very accommodating! We loved our Thailand package deal and got to experience 3 different parts of Thailand. This wouldn’t have been possible without them. Going on a honeymoon so far away is pretty challenging, but we did not have to worry about where we were going to stay, or coordinating the flights to get there and back. Even better, Unforgettable Honeymoons coordinated our rides to and from the airports. Best experience!

Romantic Thailand Luxury Honeymoon Review

The Thailand Honeymoon trip was amazing from start to finish. We could not have done the whole thing without your help and booking all the details.

How did the honeymoon turn out in general?
The airport transfers worked out perfectly and made transportation very easy. The reports were all clean and had friendly staff. The tours were amazing, and the tour guides were friendly and informative.

What about the destination(s) in general?
Bangkok was the largest city we have been to. We appreciate that were able to visit the temples and learn about the culture. We are also glad we started the trip here because it was a quick start to the trip and allowed us to relax in the end. Also, we are glad we split the tours into separate days and added the day in Bangkok. The floating market tour was our favorite and worth the drive outside the city. Three days in Bangkok was not enough to actually see the city, but we enjoyed our little neighborhood and even used some public transportation due to the heavy traffic.

Chang Mai – This city has a lot of culture and was a great place to walk around and explore. We wish we had an extra day here considering we decided to do a day at the Elephant Nature Park (which was our favorite day). There are a lot of nice little restaurants and the temples are really interesting to compare with those in Bangkok. The markets are a fun scene as well.

Phuket – This was obviously the best part of the trip considering the beach and private villa are what you’d expect from a honeymoon. Phuket was much larger than we expected, but we enjoyed exploring a few places along the beach on the west side of the island. Patong beach is like no other place we have ever gone before. We are glad we went there for an evening to explore and witness the nightlife. We had a lot of fun this evening to change things up from the relaxation of the resort. The food was great everywhere we went, and had a lot of options from Thai food to more western dishes.

The service exceeded our expectations in many ways and we appreciate all the help in booking our honeymoon. We would certainly recommend you to any future honeymooners. Traveling to a foreign country can be difficult, so having everything handled for us made it very easy.

The honeymoon was amazing! Perfect blend of relaxing and excursions. We feel like we really got to see the main attractions of every destination while also getting to rest up since we were on vacation after all.  We loved the destinations. From busy Bangkok to a completely different speed in Chang Mai, followed by relaxing in Phuket.  For me the highlight was Patara Elephant Sanctuary. It’s always been a dream of mine to spend a day with my favorite animal, Patara was great at letting us interact with the elephants while making us feel safe throughout.  The service was exceptional,  Unforgettable Honeymoons is a fantastic agency to book Thailand with!!

How did the honeymoon turn out in general? It was perfect. We had the best time, and a lot of that can be attributed to the spectacular planning from UH. The comprehensive agenda was extremely helpful.

As soon as we landed in Thailand, we did not worry about anything. Every shuttle was there on time, with someone that spoke English to greet us, and all timing of transfers was perfect. The hotels were amazing, much better than I expected. The tours planned were great and tour guides really interesting people to meet.

What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at? Every place we stayed at had it’s own special charm. In Bangkok, our hotel towered above the city and was a bit set back so the view of the city was great. The room came with “privileges” so you got free breakfast and a light lunch. The breakfast buffet at that hotel was the best I’ve ever had – everything was fresh and delicious.

In Chiang Mai, the hotel was a bit more “authentic” and felt more like a hotel in Thailand – really beautiful carvings and statutes all around and great woodwork.

The last hotel in Phutket was amazing – our own pool overlooking the beach. You felt like you were in your own private oasis. All hotels had great staff, great food, large rooms, and exceeded our expectations. They all gave us drinking water, and has special treats and displays for our honeymoon.

What about the destination(s) in general? Thailand was wonderful to visit – the people were all friendly and helpful. You never felt unsafe for a minute. There was so much to do and see, but you also got to relax if you wanted. I’m glad we saw city, country/mountain, and beach. There were not many Americans, but you met people from all over the world.

Could we have done more to make your trip smoother? We really have no complaints. Maybe preparing us for the chaos of the Bangkok airport but that can not be avoided!

My Husband and I just returned from our Honeymoon in Thailand that was booked with Unforgettable Honeymoons, . Not only was the entire planning process seamless, but the hotels that they booked for us were fantastic! Let’s not forget to mention that our agent Renee got us an amazing (and affordable) rate to the Anantara Chedi in Chiang Mai – a Fodor’s top 100 hotel!!!!!!

Having little ideas, except for the cities we wanted to visit, about Thailand and a tight budget both my Husband and I thought it would be out of the question to take an exotic honeymoon to Thailand. However, with Renee’s help she literally made our dream come true!

About a month prior to our departure date for Thailand, the train we were planning to take from Bangkok to Chiang Mai was canceled due to derailment issues. We immediately contacted Renee who was more than willing to help us, even though she was out on vacation.

She was completely honest with me in regards to the rates she could get for our flight (explaining insurance and foreign currency fees) and recommended to check out flight prices on our own as we may be able to get a better deal – which we did!

About a week before we left, we received an email with tips on sight seeing, eating and shopping for our trip. It was so helpful!

We are the first of our friends to get married and will be recommending unforgettable honeymoons to all of our friends!
