We loved the all-inclusive perks such as food, drinks and activities. We enjoyed the layout of the resort and appreciated how everything is close together. We loved the hiking trails, especially the one where you get a chance to watch the sunset over the ocean while overlooking mountains and farmland beyond.

How did the honeymoon turn out in general?
The honeymoon was amazing! From the time we were picked up at the airport to the time we were dropped off to come home, everything was perfect. It was so nice not having to worry about transportation from destination to destination. We made every moment count and filled everyday with excursions at each hotel. We were so happy we added day to the original package!

What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at?
Arenal Nayara — the spectacular views from the room and the location we were at within the resort. We were close to all the restaurants and pools! The drinks were to die for! Everything was so fresh!
Secrets Papagayo — the view of the beach and location. All inclusive is the best way to go!
Neither resort was packed at all and both were very relaxing and quiet.

What about the destination(s) in general?
The views! I could go on and on about the views! No matter where you went, the view was amazing. We also loved having the opportunity to horseback to a volcano, which we don’t have where we live!

The least?
The drive from the airport to the destination. This isn’t anything you could change, just wish it was closer!!

Highlight of the honeymoon ?
All of the excursions we were able to do. From horseback riding up a volcano, swimming in the waterfall, safari tour down river, offshore fishing and jetskis! Both resorts were amazing from the views to the people to the food! No complaints!

Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?
Nope, everything was told to us before hand. Leah made sure we had all of the information we would possibly need throughout the trip!

How did the honeymoon turn out in general?   

It was amazing. Everything went so smoothly. We are so grateful to have gone through an agency so we did not have to plan that much. Renee promptly answered all of our questions we had prior to leaving so we would be set up with no hassles.

What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at?

The food and the views, delicious and beautiful. We felt like we were in another world.

Highlight of the honeymoon?

Secrets Papagayo was more of our relaxing resort – we went snorkeling, did some crafts, ate, had couples massage, and nightly shows

Nayara Gardens was relaxing and where we had all of our excursions. We went zip lining in the jungle (the volcano was on one side and Lake Arenal on the other side), horseback riding in the jungle (near the volcano and Lake Arneal), hiking in the jungle to a beautiful waterfall (private tour guide was so nice, he stopped various times on our way there to get out of the car and show us wildlife [a family of howling monkeys, toucans, parrots, vultures, viper in the jungle]), couples massage, hot springs, we hired a professional photographer who took amazing pictures of us, romantic meals

Was our service what you expected?

Yes, it was so helpful. We were definitely feeling decision overload from the wedding so it was so nice to have it be taken care of by a trusted company.

Could we have done more to make your trip smoother?

Honestly, no. We felt very taken care of.
