How did the honeymoon turn out in general? Wonderful! We had a great time, a beautiful resort and a place! We were entertained and got to relax and that was exactly what we wanted.
We loved that it was not so crowded. Also, there was 24-hour room service which was great. It was so beautiful! The layout was easy to navigate. There were also many people walking around all the time to get your drinks or anything you needed.
The location was so beautiful and it was only a 3-hour plane ride for us which was great! We did love that it was hot there but not too humid or unbearable.

Any other comments?
We woke up the morning of flight to our plane being delayed 3 hours. We would have missed our connecting flight. We called the emergency number for unforgettable honeymoons and they completely took care of everything. We ended up leaving the next day and staying an extra day with no additional fees. We were so pleased with the service!

Could we have done more to make your trip smoother?
Nothing! The service was beyond what we expected.

How did the honeymoon turn out in general?
We had a great time and everything met our expectations!
The resort alone was absolutely beautiful and we felt right at home.

What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at?
Some of the things we loved about our resort were:
-24 hour room service
-a “secret box” attached to our room that they would put our food in if we had a “do not disturb” light on
-beautiful beach and pools
-GREAT service from all employees (especially our personal concierge, Eduar)
-hibachi at Himitsu restaurant was phenomenal
-champagne was DELICIOUS
-nightly entertainment that usually consisted of live music in the lobby followed by a show/concert in the theater followed by the opening of a night club/bar

What about the destination(s) in general?
The beach was absolutely beautiful…white sand and blue water.
We were able to do an excursion at “Scape Park” and it was only 15-20 minutes from our resort…it was very convenient!

The least?
We were interested in the spa but the prices were way too high for our budget.
We looked into a couples massage but the prices started at $339 for only 50 minutes.

Highlight of the honeymoon?
The highlight of our honeymoon was our personal concierge, Eduar.
He checked in with us every single morning and sent us the schedule of events/restaurants for the day.
We asked him a few times to restock our mini bar and he completed the task very quickly/efficiently.
He scheduled our breakfast in bed, private dinner on the beach and arranged for our luggage pick up the day of our departure.

While we were at our private dinner on the beach he had rose petals arranged on our bed with a heart saying “I Love You” and a sweet note from him wishing us a Happy Honeymoon!
He also made a reservation for us and another couple at the hibachi restaurant our last night.
Eduar was very thoughtful and made our honeymoon very enjoyable and stress free.

Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?
It would have been helpful if we had a guide on how to tip the staff.
We did what we thought was appropriate but it would have been helpful to have some suggestions on how much to tip/who/when etc.

Any other comments?
The transfer service, Olympus Tours, was great! The staff was very friendly and time-efficient.
Overall we had a phenomenal time and it will definitely be a trip that we will always remember!

Leah was our personal agent and she was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
We had an issue with our initial flight arrangements but the emergency line was very helpful and solved our problem right away.

The honeymoon was phenomenal and the weather was great. We paid extra to be in the preferred club at the resort and I’m not sure it was worth the extra money. The perks: your own pool away from other guests with its own bar and your own part of the beach with covered chairs. However, we had a few hiccups with our butler and with scheduling some special evenings that were supposed to be included with our “preferred” status. But overall, it was paradise.

What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at?

The pools at the secrets resort were EXCELLENT! You could always find a chair, towels were plentiful, you were always waited on quickly for drinks. On that note, the staff was also excellent.

What about the destination(s) in general?

The hospitality of the people. They were so welcoming and kind.

The least?

Because secrets cap cana is kind of exclusive and off on its own, it was unrealistic to leave the resort to do anything unless you paid to do an excursion. We did one excursion and it was a lot of fun but it was a 30 minute drive to get there. If you go to this resort, plan on basically staying there the whole time.

Highlight of the honeymoon?

Our snorkeling excursion was a blast. And definitely worth the money. If you think you could use a day away from the resort, we highly recommend doing the marinarium excursion and swimming with the sharks 😊

Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?

Look into the dining options and figure out where you want to go and when so you make sure you get to try everything! We ran out of time and didn’t get to try 2 of the places we had wanted to try. Also, if you know Spanish brush up on it before you get there. Some of the staff doesn’t speak very good English.

Any other comments?

Just for you Leah! We already want to plan our next all-inclusive and want to try somewhere new. Recommendations for other places to go that are similar to Secrets but a different location. Jamaica or anywhere else?

Punta Cana Honeymoon was Amazing

Our honeymoon turned out absolutely amazing. Punta Cana is breathtakingly beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Everything from the planning, to the hotel, was perfect! We were able to relax and not worry about a single thing

Our room and the club membership we had was our favorite- Our room was a two-story room, and the second story had a beachfront view with our own private plunge pool on the roof! Our package included the excellence club membership. This was fabulous! We had exclusive access to a private part of the beach and an exclusive lounge and restaurant for only club members!

 Unforgettable Honeymoons was just what we needed

Our agent was the absolute best! She took our dream honeymoon and turned it into a realit- She made the planning so easy. Everything went perfectly! This was the easiest way to plan a honeymoon and we saved some money along the way! I hope we are allowed to use these services for other trips and not just honeymoons!
