Sandals St Vincent Honeymoon Reviews:
Sandals St Vincent Honeymoon Review
Sandals St Vincent was absolutely incredible… perfect honeymoon location for what we were looking for!
We both gave it a 10/10
What did you think of the island of St Vincent?
The island was small and beautiful. We got to rent a car and explore on our own. We stayed at a local hotel called Myah’s the night before and visit local restaurants and beaches. We were treated with kindness everywhere we went! Also hiked the volcano on our own which was amazing. Would not recommend everyone to experience driving in this country it was semi dangerous if you are not a good driver.
Let us know more about Sandals St Vincent:
How was your room?
GORGEOUS. Brand new, clean, we loved the tranquility tub. Only two evenings were we disappointed with the lack of turndown service. Anything we were out of you just could call and they brought within 10 minutes.
Dining options/ quality of food:
The food was OUTSTANDING. From snacks & desserts. Every meal breakfast lunch and dinner was amazing!!!! Only had one issue for breakfast waiting a very long time in the 9 days we were there. Some of the best food we’ve had in our lives
Service /staff friendliness:
Bartenders at the pool swim up were not super friendly but service was still good.
Many many many amazing staff members & overall everyone was so kind.
Entertainment
Something to do every day/evening. We did not get bored and felt there was plenty to do! Although events repeated while we were there
Amazing Highlights of your honeymoon to St Vincent? ( activities/ excursions/special dinners, etc)
Volcano hike- did this on our own (would not have paid $400 a piece because we are avid hikers and managed on our own no issue)
Day trip to Tobago cays booked with Sandals St Vincent was the best!!! Snorkeling and lunch on another island. Got to stop one other island as well. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. Very long boat ride though 2.5 hours. We loved it all
Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?
If you were to rent a car and drive be prepared to drive in the left side of the road and right side of the vehicle.
Sandals was small and intimate but with enough to do.
Be prepared to see the same people everywhere you go
Was our service helpful, & met your expectations
Soooo helpful. We would not even have gone out of the country without your recommendations based on what we wanted to do. Thank you so much!
Honeymoon Review for Sandals St Vincent 9/10
“Just the atmosphere of being there and together was the highlight. The resort was just absolutely beautiful to wake up to every morning”
Our honeymoon to Sandals St Vincent turned out great! The weather misbehaved a little (rain), but we had a very relaxing, romantic trip.
What did you love most about the island of St Vincent and would you recommend to other honeymooners?
We would definitely recommend it to other honeymooners. We loved that we were in the Caribbean and could see the beautiful ocean but were also surrounded by mountains.
Overall Resort Experience: 9/10.
The resort was new, luxurious and beautiful. The grounds were full of pretty plants and flowers. It was laid out well and a good size. All of the staff were very friendly and we never went hungry.
maybe because the hotel is brand new, there were also strange things going on with power flashing on and off one day, and random fire alarms going off and no one seemed to acknowledge them.
Your room/suite: Our Room was fabulous. house keeping came every day, and cleaned and organized really well. The room was beautiful and large. If we did it all again, we’d still choose to be in one of the rooms in the Lady Palm building for the view and to be up high, not on ground level.
Quality of food/service: The food at Sandals St Vincent was excellent. We finally got the hang of the all-inclusiveness by the end of the week and would order multiple appetizers and entrees so we could try new things.
Butch’s was our favorite. Everything was excellent there. Sora would be our second favorite.
Considering the resort was at 30% capacity, sometimes we waited longer than we felt should be normal. But again, everyone was super friendly so overall still a good rating!
About the beach/ocean: the water was unbelievably clear, calm and warm. The beach isn’t very big, but there was plenty of seating. We also liked the convenience of the bar on the beach.
Activities: We don’t have much to say here because we did a lot of chilling. We did do the included snorkeling trip one day and that was nice, but again, they could have communicated how to/where to participate better. We did book one excursions, the boat trip to Mustique and Bequia. It was good, but not something we’d have to do again. The excursions are affected by it being off-season, I think Sandals could have communicated that better.
Staff friendliness: Excellent! We have zero complaints about the staff.
Highlights of your honeymoon to Sandals St Vincent ? ( activities/ excursions/special dinners, etc)
Honestly, just the atmosphere of being there and together was the highlight. The resort was just absolutely beautiful to wake up to every morning. It was so relaxing to not be on any schedule and to be able to just spend time together or chatting with other guests. The food was of course a highlight too.
Note: you can get car sick on the way to the hotel, lot’s of winding roads and twists and turns.
