Whether you want to keep up with your regular fitness regimen or unwind with some exercise after a day by the pool, the Electra Palace Athens hotel guests fitness center is at your disposal. The fitness center is equipped with a treadmill and elliptical trainer, a multi weight machine, free weights and benches, so that a full workout program can be executed comfortably.
Outdoor Pool
Located on the 4th floor of the hotel, the outdoor swimming pool is a cool oasis in the city center. Open throughout the summer, it commands magnificent views of Plaka and the Acropolis and features a pool bar, making it the perfect place to spend a relaxing summer day – or two. Catch some sun; soak up in the pool; enjoy a drink from the bar, and let the hustle and bustle of the city behind you, enjoying the picturesque view of the Plaka, below the Sacred Rock – you will think you are in an Aegean island!

A few turns of the road from the modern city center, all of Athens’ history can be found here: its first school and its first university, 11th century byzantine churches and 18th century mosques, golden age monuments and the Roman Agora and the amazing Anafiotika, the tiny Cycladic-style bright white neighborhood perched on the Acropolis to the east of Plaka. Shopping is a must here, whether for souvenirs, fine jewelry or artisanal mementos – and so is lunch or dinner. Also, do keep an eye for street events and parties: they are known to happen from time to time and are always delightful!
