COMO Parrot Cay has complimentary cruiser bikes available on a first come basis at the bicycle barn along the Main Beach pathway. Explore the many biking trails that lead through the tropical forests, coconut and banana plantations. Bikes are available for men and women, and are a great way to explore the island at a pace that suits you.

Adjacent to COMO Parrot Cay is the vibrant island of North Caicos, only a few minutes by boat from the resort. It’s commonly known as the ‘green island’ due to its abundance of plants and very little development, reflecting the old tropical way of life. Here you can explore the historical Wade’s Green Plantation, experience the local animal and fruit farms and learn about the Caicos Pine Tree project. You can also head down to the coast to explore the remote beaches, bird ponds and bountiful nature preserves in the area.

The stargazing in the Turks and Caicos is some of the best in the world: no light pollution, no obstructions, just a still ocean and quiet sky.
Our southern location, near the Tropic of Cancer, means you can see constellations not visible in other parts of the world, including Canis Minor, Aquarius and Eridanus.
The Milky Way often makes an appearance, as well as shooting stars.

Explore COMO Parrot Cay at your own pace with our complimentary equipment hire. Single and double kayaks are available so you can calmly ride the waves. Stand-up paddle boards and windsurfing equipment is also available. For those who want to go a little faster, the Hobie Cat Wave is the ideal boat to explore in, and perfect for novice sailors, with an incredibly stable dual hull design. There is plenty to see underwater too, so make the most of the snorkelling equipment and go in search of sand dollars, conch shells and tropical fish, easily visible in the crystal clear waters.

Explore the beautiful reefs north of COMO Parrot Cay. You will first visit Fort George Cay, full of arches, holes, channels and caverns, packed with colourful marine life. Reef fish and coral identification books are available on board the snorkel boat and our guide will introduce you to the basics of coral ecology, fish identification and reef etiquette. As you cruise to the second snorkel site, the Leeward Reef, our guides will share the history of the passing coral islands. Leeward Reef is bursting with life and it is not uncommon to see rays, barracuda, lobsters and many varieties of vibrantly coloured reef fish.
STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDING AND KAYAK SAFARI

Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding are both great ways to explore the mangroves, channels and flats around COMO Parrot Cay. The stealthiness and low draft of these vessels allow you to view wildlife and reach areas that are not accessible any other way. Join a guide on an eco-adventure through one of several channels that cut into the mangroves and paddle over expansive grassy flats on the lookout for eagle rays, green turtles and schools of bonefish. You’ll almost certainly see the herons and egrets that stalk the water’s edge, with terns and pelicans diving on schools of fish from above. There is a minimum age of 12 years for those wishing to take part in a paddleboarding tour.
