    Italy Honeymoon Reviews

    “Unforgettable Venice and Florence Honeymoon
We are back, dealing with the jet lag and now little daylight savings too :)
The honeymoon was fantastic and thanks for all your help and guidance along the way. Everything thing went pretty well and it was just the unusual timing of the flooding and high tide in Venice that was a bit scary but was fine. The hotel in Florence upgraded us to a suite! That is awesome! It was a wonderful room and definitely Florence was one of the highlights of the trip. I would love to go back to all of it, but especially Firenze! :) The Bauer in Venice was AMAZING! What a luxurious hotel! It was so great to be so close to San Marco and (truth be told) a very easy way to orient ourselves if we got turned around. That happened often :)

“Italy Honeymoon to Florence, Rome and Sorrento
Hotel Plaza Lucchesi, Hotel 47, Hotel Tramontano

It was truly a trip of a lifetime. We loved it! The honeymoon Exceeded our expectations

We would return to all destinations. Florence was beautiful. Hotel Lucchesi has the most amazing rooftop. The city has so much charm and history. The food and people were great. Rome was incredible and rich with history and places to explore. Very busy so I was glad after 3 days of go, go, go to move on to a more relaxing venue. Hotel Tramontano had a cool location and love the old Italian charm. The Sorrentine Coast was stunning but very crowded with tourist (Capri and Positano). I noticed the friendliness of the people diminished the further South we travelled in Italy.

Italian driving - it's CRAZY and I am so thankful we had arranged transportation.
Be mindful of travel time between flights. We carried on from the US to Europe but weight limits vary by airline (typically less weight allotment in Europe).

Was our service what you expected?
Yes, very helpful and insightful. Overall very smooth trip.

    Kerry Harrison, Anthony Rotella

“Thank you Renee for putting together an Italy trip of a lifetime, everything was perfect, and your recommendations were 100% spot on for everything, hotels, things to do, and restaurants... (and bars!!) we are recommending your services to everyone ( do you do more than honeymoons?) sincerely, Joanne and Bob Goldstein, NJ”

“We loved everything about the trip and thank you so much for all of your help. I answered some of the questions you provided and listed them below. I hope this helps!

The trip was amazing and somehow exceeded our expectations because we already knew that it was going to be great. Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed every city.

Each hotel was great. The rooftop restaurants at the hotels in Rome and Florence were amazing. The concierge at each hotel was more than willing to help with taxis and local recommendations. The highlight may have been how the hotel in Florence provided us with a smart phone to carry around the city as we explored. We were able to make local calls to make dinner reservations and use the maps to navigate (We missed it when we went down to Sorrento!)

how about the destination(s) in general- did you do some exploring, how was the scenery? The people?
The Colosseum and Vatican tours are a must and the tour guides were very knowledgeable. The people were nice at each location and we never ran into anyone who gave us any problems. The sunset views on the Duomo in Florence are amazing and the view from the top of Capri is epically beautiful (Take the chairlift to the top of Ana Capri!)

I would love to go back to every destination, but if I had to choose one, I’d want to go back to Sorrento. There is so much to do and explore in the Naples and Sorrento area.

    Highlight of the honeymoon ?
We have heard this question numerous times since we returned and we always have a difficult time answering! Touring the Colosseum in Rome was amazing and we thought the food was best in Florence (Go to Trattoria ZaZa, it was our favorite restaurant on the trip). Capri is a must when in Sorrento.

Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?
When we visited Capri. The boat ride around the island with a group was great, but we think spending a little more on chartering our own private boat tour would have been worth it. The group boat did not allow us to do blue grotto when we were expecting to have that opportunity!

Was our service what you expected?
Yes, we were very pleased with the service and how unforgettable honeymoons made the itinerary simple to follow throughout the trip.

Was our agent friendly, informative and helpful?
Yes, Emma was very professional and nice and always made herself available.

Could we have done more to make your trip smoother?
I really don’t think much else could have been done. Everything was smooth from departure to returning home.
