BIRAS CREEK RESORT ACCOMMODATIONS:

All thirty-one suites are located along Berchers Bay on the Atlantic side of the 140 acre estate and feature a sitting room, separate air-conditioned bedroom, outdoor showers, ceiling fans, direct dial telephone with data port, CD player, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, in-room safe, furnished verandah, and bicycles for touring the property.

COTTAGE SUITES

Twenty Ocean Suites are positioned along the water's edge, offering uninterrupted views of the sea from their bedrooms and private verandahs.

Eight Garden Suites are set back from the shore and are spread throughout naturally landscaped gardens behind the Ocean Suites. They have fleeting views of the Atlantic ocean through the vegetation.

All Ocean and Garden Suites are identical in size and layout, each over 475 square feet of interior space. Three cottages have interconnecting suites to make a two bedroom, two bathroom unit. They all feature a large "garden shower" (big enough for two) partially open to the sky above, decorated with colorful tropical plants and surrounded with stone walls and louvers to ensure privacy. Large bedroom windows allow views of the ocean while reclining. Enjoy seeing the sunrise each morning as you arise.

TWO BEDROOM PREMIER SUITE

The Premier Suite is a very spacious two bedroom, two bathroom suite with a generous sitting room between the two bedrooms all providing over 900' square feet of interior space. It is located on the water with each bedroom and the sitting room having private access to their own furnished outdoor verandah which enjoy views of the ocean.

GRAND SUITES

The two Grand Suites provide over 1325 square feet of interior space. A large entry area opens to the living room which features a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean. A furnished verandah extends from the living room to provide an oceanside sitting area and sun deck. The living room has space to add a roll-away bed for an extra person and also has a half-bath off the entry foyer. A doorway leads to the spacious bedroom which has a king bed, large walk-in closet, desk, dresser, air-conditioning, and features a covered private verandah with lounge chairs. The bedroom connects to a spacious bathroom featuring an oversized soaking tub with a ocean view. A separate garden shower room opens to the skies and is large enough for two; a unique "open air" toilet and bidet room are nearby. Two vanities flank the "picture window".
Each Grand Suite has ceiling fans throughout the accommodations to provide gentle overhead breezes. They are situated on the water at the end of Berchers Bay, ensuring complete privacy. If requested, the two Grand Suites can be interconnected.

A water-sports instructor is available for free lessons. The hills on either side of the resort are criss-crossed with hiking trails, all with dramatic views and incredible flora and fauna. There is a snooker room with a full-size table. All guests are given their own bicycle for exploring our spacious property. Complimentary Recreation & Watersports BEACHES - The beach at Berchers Bay (adjacent to the ocean and garden suites) is perfect for walking, reading and sunbathing. Our beautiful sheltered beach is located at Deep Bay, a short walk or bicycle ride from your cottage. BICYCLES & BIKING - Two bicycles are placed outside your cottage for use during your stay. GARDEN WALK - Our head gardener's weekly walks will inform and delight you as he describes the landscape and plants using their native names. NATURE WALKS & HIKING - There are some wonderful walks in the hills surrounding the hotel. You will probably see several iguanas along the way. Three rather large ones have become our mascots and are named Hubertus, Willimina, and Godzilla. SCUBA - Introductory Scuba Sessions are offered once a week. Lessons will be held poolside followed by a shallow water dive. SNORKELING - Masks, fins and snorkel gear are available for guests to use during their stay. We provide complimentary Guided Snorkeling trips several times a week. SWIMMING POOL - The pool literally abuts the waves of the open sea on Bercher's Bay and is for resident guests? exclusive use. TELEVISION AND FILMS - Satellite television with CNN and BBC News are available in the Arawak room, plus a large selection of DVDs. TENNIS - There are two floodlit Omni tennis courts available for complimentary guest use.
