72 Two and Three-Bedroom Suites. Each can be subdivided into one-bedroom Suites and a luxury guest room if desired. Five separate buildings clad in Barbadian Coral Stone house 72 Two and Three-Bedroom Suites. Each full suite has over 1,500 sq.ft. of luxurious living space, marble floors and a minimum of 225 sq.ft. of outdoor travertine terrace, most with oceanviews. Additional bedrooms are designed to function as Luxury Rooms with over 600 sq.ft. of living space and private outdoor terrace. The classic estates of the Caribbean and Oliver Messel inspired the overall architecture and design of the resort best exemplified within the Suites. Hand-cut coral stone facades and flickering hand-lit gas exterior lighting fixtures set a tone of timeless luxury and sense of place. Inside one?s suite, marble floors, milled crown moldings and wainscoting create a sense of grandeur, while mahogany furniture, custom-made expressly for the resort, lends an air of period elegance. The interior and exterior spaciousness allows for a full menu of spa services to be performed within one?s guest room, if so desired.

Eight extraordinary Penthouse Suites are available for the truly discerning guest. Each features vaulted ceilings, keyed elevator access, study with high-speed cable internet access, two expansive travertine terraces including a pergola, an interior ?water room? with waterfall shower, and an adjacent SunSuite featuring an outdoor shower, garden and Jacuzzi. Daily butler service is available at an additional charge.

Guest Residence Amenities

The elegantly appointed Guest Suites and Luxury Rooms feature a hand-tufted king bedding configuration. Bed linens and toweling are custom-made 488 ?thread count Egyptian cotton. Each suite is supplied with a mini-bar, safe and high-speed cable internet. Each master bath suite features a hydro-massage bathtub and separate marble shower. Maid service is provided daily with turndown service, which also includes aromatherapy spritzes to re-create the serenity of the spa as well as a spa amenity. Fifty-seven channels of cable television allow for ample entertainment possibilities. Penthouse Suites have flat panel LCD televisions. Suites, one bedroom or larger, are equipped with a full kitchen including Viking appliances throughout, and are ideal for long-term guests or those desiring the services of a private chef. The Mansion

The centerpiece and heart of The Palms, The Mansion, is the social hub of the resort. It features the resort?s signature dining room, Parallel23, and the Messel Ballroom. Along an esplanade flanking The Mansion?s formal gardens is Palm Place, featuring a selection of boutiques ideally suited to a luxury resort lifestyle.

The resort?s signature dining experience at Parallel 23 features Tropical Fusion cuisine in a setting of casual elegance. The menu features flavors and textures from the tropical world prepared using organic and local ingredients in a state-of-the-art display kitchen with wood-burning oven. An extensive wine list featuring boutique wines from around the world complements the experience. An expansive outdoor terrace faces The Mansion?s gardens for al fresco dining. Additionally, an extraordinary outdoor domed private dining room is available for private functions. During the summer season, Parallel23 is open for breakfast and dinner. In the winter season, the signature restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.In addition, the resort?s culinary offerings are available to our guests en-suite through our private dining service.

The Bar - The resort?s elegant bar features the finest liquors, wines and cocktails from around the world. More like the salon of a private home, the bar has both indoor and outdoor seating and is the perfect location for pre-dinner cocktails, meeting others or a late-evening vintage rum and fine cigar.

The Messel Ballroom -Unusual for a resort of this size, The Messel Ballroom is located on the second floor of The Mansion and features a wrap around terrace for pre-function cocktails. The 2,000 sq.ft. Messel Ballroom can seat up to 150 guests for catered social functions. Additionally, it is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities.

Other special events can be held on the beach, pool deck, croquet lawn and various outdoor locations around the property.

The Spa at The Palms

The spiritual heart of The Palms, The Spa at The Palms, is nearly a destination in and of itself. Conceived by Angel Stewart of Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Golden Door and Ritz-Carlton (Rancho Mirage) fame, it is spread over an acre site and encompasses 25,000 sq. feet of elegant space. Treatment rooms are stand-alone and surrounded by water, each with its own water feature by day and fire feature by night. In a garden area, six white tented cabanas provide a different setting for island-inspired herbal treatments. Two extraordinary spa suites are also available for individual guests or couples to create a custom experience of treatments, relax in a private plunge pool Jacuzzi, and enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner for two on a garden patio.

 Signature treatments at The Spa include ?Mother of Pearl Body Exfoliation? which uses a precious blend of hand crushed local queen conch shells to gently revitalize and soften, ?Little Drops of Caribbean Rain? whereby hundreds of tiny drops of essential oils are applied along the spine to awaken every nerve ending, and ?Moonlight and Stars? which enables two guests to enjoy a massage in the privacy of their own patio to the sound of the lapping ocean, beneath the twinkling of the stars. The unique indigenous island treatment of ?Zareeba?, meaning ?protected enclosure?, allows guests their own herbal steam, cleansing and detoxification ritual, provided in private enclosures, including inhalation of aromatic steam from a blend of freshly brewed therapeutic herbs, followed by a cooling wrap and a toxin release body massage to complete the purification ritual.

Many of the treatments available in The Spa at The Palms may also be taken in a guest?s room for the ultimate in relaxation in a private setting. Either indoors or on one?s expansive private terrace, The Spa comes to you. Another in a long list of bespoke services available to our guests.

Other features adding to the guest experience include a special airport arrival service where guests receive chilled aromatic treatment towels from The Spa at The Palms, ?Get A Life? product line, along with water to re-hydrate themselves after their flight. Once guests arrive at the resort, they are treated with ?Arrival on Ice?, a complimentary ?All Even? (described as a dry shower in a bottle) spa product on crushed ice served by spa staff. When guests leave The Palms, they are provided with tissues infused with ?Breath of Life? to help the clearing of the sinuses, essential for pre-flight preparations.

A Yoga, Pilates and meditation studio offering daily early morning classes (either 7:45am or 8:00am), is situated in the center or heart of the spa overlooking the 150-foot central water garden that is flanked by majestic date palms. Private Yoga, Pilates and meditation classes are available upon request.   Additionally, consultations with a private nutrition counselor can be booked at The Spa. Water based therapies, a full service salon, elegant retail salon, health drinks and plans for a new Men?s Barber Shop complete the offerings. A fitness center comprising of two treadmills, a cross trainer, elliptical edge and stationary bike, as well as, seven weight machines, a rowing machine and free weights is also open to guests between the hours of 6:30am and 10:00pm daily. Pool and Pool Bar

A highlight of the resort lying at the center of the guest suite buildings, the $1.8 million serpentine infinity pool is without peer. Each area of the pool, surrounding pool decks and bar provide a unique ambiance. Wooden decking, complimentary Wi-Fi around the pool, sun pods, a hot tub ?island? in the center of the pool, and a hidden sundeck brushing the beach are but a few of the unique features. Service is attentive and includes terry-covered chaise lounges, and a selection of complimentary fresh fruit kebabs and tropical sorbets for refreshment each afternoon along with chilled towels aimed to re-hydrate guests.

Plunge, the pool bar and restaurant is as unique as the pool itself. Surrounded on one side by the pool, one can relax in a water banquette or sit at the bar without exiting the pool and still enjoy the full menu. A sunken dining terrace surrounded by a waterfall and garden offers additional al fresco seating. The menu offers Caribbean inspired specialties from the wood burning oven along with light salads and sandwiches. Refreshing fruit liquadoes and cocktails are available throughout the day.

WISH boutique carries contemporary wear for men and women and features fashions from young designers and the Ralph Lauren Purple Label line. Next door, the PALM Shop carries casual logo wear and gift items. SPLASH boutique features bathing suits and attire prime for the beach. SPICE is the resort?s ideal choice for a light snack or favorite beverage throughout the day, and also offers prepared foods for take out. HARMONY GALLERY, with its luxurious handmade gift items for the home, including one-of-a-kind shell encrusted mirrors, completes the offerings.

Any purchases from Palm Place or The Spa at The Palms will be packaged to your specifications for use during your stay or for travel. Our staff will then deliver your purchases to your room should you desire.

Services  Our commitment to service is such that a system of underground tunnels interconnects each building throughout the resort so that services may take place unobtrusively and completely out of sight of our guests.

Activities -Our activities are designed to complement the resort experience without impacting the experience and enjoyment of our other guests. A tennis court lit for night play and a croquet lawn are sited away from the resort?s residential buildings. Non-motorized water sports including hobie cats, snorkel equipment, kayaks, windsurfs and floats as well as children?s beach toys can be enjoyed at the beach between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
