Pahu i`a

Naupaka Terrace, an extension of existing lanai seating, offers panoramic views of the ocean in an intimate setting. Naupaka kahakai is the name of a native Hawaiian shrub that grows naturally along Hawai?i's beaches. Its white blossoms appear to be only half of a flower. Legend says that the flower is made whole by joining it with a "half flower" from the naupaka kuahiwi or mountain naupaka, which grows upland.
