The resort was different than what we expected, but it was a hoot. There are activities planned throughout the day, and they beat the drum to signal the start of each event. Liku Liku is a resort on an island, not an exclusive private island - there are 45 bures, and 90 guests permitted at once. It definitely has the "resort atmosphere" and less of a secluded private island feel. Its a lovely resort, and they do have overwater bures. These are NOT however like the Bora Bora overwaters. These are over a tidal beach, which means that often the bures sit over the sand. We are disappointed that Liku Liku has increased their rates for 2010 - without including anything additional.
